Super Mario Galaxy is a 2007 platform game developed by Nintendo EAD Tokyo and published by Nintendo for the Wii. It is part of the Super Mario series within the larger Mario franchise, and is the third 3D platformer in the series, following Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine. The game was played by The D-Pad in 2019, with Rick attempting a 100% speedrun of the game in 24 hours for Extra Life 2019. Originally streamed live on The D-Pad's Twitch account on November 2, 2019, the attempt was later edited into three large episodes and uploaded to YouTube on December 25, 2019.
