Mario Party DS is a 2007 party game developed by Hudson Soft and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo DS. It is the second handheld entry in the Mario Party series, and part of the larger Mario franchise. It features eight playable characters, five boards, and the ability for up to four players to compete over local multiplayer via DS Download Play, though it lacks an online multiplayer mode. The game was played on The D-Pad in a one-off episode in 2024, as the eleventh game in Mario Party Madness. The episode was streamed live on the chrisclark8788 and dpadfm Twitch channels before being uploaded to YouTube on October 12, 2024.
