Sonic the Hedgehog Genesis is a 2006 platform game developed by Sonic Team and published by Sega for the Game Boy Advance. It is part of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, and an updated port of the original 1991 Sega Genesis game Sonic the Hedgehog. It allows for game progress to be automatically saved between zones, and contains a new "Anniversary Mode", which adds the Spin Dash to the game. The game was played on The D-Pad in 2020, as the sixty-ninth game in The Super Sonic Let's Play. The LP consisted of 7 episodes, released on weekdays from December 27 to December 31, 2020.
