John Selig is one of the primary hosts of The D-Pad. He was one of the hosts of the original podcast, and has since gone on to appear in almost every series on the channel to some degree. He is known for his distinctive sense of humor, which is self-deprecating and often boundary-pushing, to the frequent annoyance of Rick, who has had to censor his comments on more than one occasion. John is one of the most frequent LPers on the channel, second only to Rick, although he often hands over the controller to the former when he becomes annoyed with the game he is playing. A notable exception to this is Pokémon Rivals, where he plays his half of the project in its entirety. He can often be found pushing for faster progress through the projects on the channel, for the sake of keeping the viewers entertained.
