Sonic.exe is a 2012 horror game developed by MY5TCrimson for PC. It is an unofficial fan game based on a creepypasta written about the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, in which a man named Tom is given a mysterious and unsettling Sonic game, and later tormented by a monstrous version of Sonic in real life. The Sonic.exe game is an attempt to replicate the game described in the original story. The game was played on The D-Pad in a one-off episode in 2017, as the twenty-seventh game in The Super Sonic Let's Play. The episode was released on February 6, 2017.

Trivia

  • The sole episode of the Sonic.exe LP was the channel's 3000th Let's Play video.
  • Due to the horror game nature of Sonic.exe, the usual The Super Sonic Let's Play intro and outro were replaced with the "horror" intro and outro used in series such as The Fright Before Christmas and Let's Play Dead, with Dachampster's "The White Hand" and "Next Time!" themes.
