Sonic Adventure 2: Battle is a 2002 platform game developed by Sonic Team USA and published by Sega for the GameCube. It is an updated port of the 2001 Dreamcast game Sonic Adventure 2, featuring improved multiplayer modes and extended functionality for the Chao Garden. The game's additional modes were made available as downloadable content for the high-definition remaster of Sonic Adventure 2 released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2012. The PlayStation 3 remaster of the game was played on The D-Pad in a one-off episode in 2018, as the fifty-first game in The Super Sonic Let's Play. The episode was released on July 20, 2018.
The game was revisited on The D-Pad in a one-off episode by Rick in 2023, as the second game in Sonic Weekathon III Adventure. The episode was streamed live on the dpadfm Twitch account before being uploaded to YouTube on June 30, 2023.
