Mega Man Zero is a 2002 action-platform game developed by Inti Creates and published by Capcom for the Game Boy Advance. It is part of the Mega Man franchise, and the first entry in the Mega Man Zero subseries. The game was played by The D-Pad in 2017, as the thirty-ninth weekday game in The Mega Let's Play, and the forty-sixth game in the series overall. The playthrough commenced on March 6, 2017 and concluded on April 18, 2017, after 18 episodes.

The episode starts with John commenting on Rick's recently reclaimed glasses and inviting a previously-possesed Ben to join them. After Ben falls to the ground in exhaustion, the remaining two describe how the X series leads into the Zero series, only to be interrupted by Lindsay who explains the history of the Game Boy Advance. The history of Inti Creates is also explained. The game starts with Ciel awakening the legendary Zero who proceeds to escort her through the laboratory ruins he slept in. With the help of Cyber Elf X, Ben uses the Z Saber to beat the boss of the stage on his second attempt. Zero and Ciel successfully escape the ruins.

Ben takes on Aztec Falcon's stage and becomes more accustomed to the controls. After suffering two deaths caused by Spikings, he passes the controller over to John, who has minor experience with the game. John comments on the possibility of changing the button layout. John reaches Aztec Falcon but suffers a quick defeat due to low health that leads to a game over.
