Ecco: The Tides of Time is a 1994 action-adventure game developed by Novotrade International and published by Sega for the Sega CD. It is the sequel to Ecco the Dolphin, and the second game in the Ecco the Dolphin series. It maintains the gameplay of its predecessor with a few new additions and improvements, and continues the story from the end of the first game. It is one of the sixty games included in the Sega Genesis Mini 2 dedicated console. This version of the game was played on The D-Pad in a one-off episode in 2022, as the twenty-fourth game in their Sega Genesis Mini 2 series. The episode was released on November 27, 2022.
