The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD is a 2016 action-adventure game developed by Tantalus and Nintendo EPD and published by Nintendo. It is a high-definition remaster of the thirteenth entry in The Legend of Zelda series, originally released in 2006. Due to the fact that they had already played the original game as part of The Legendary Let's Play in 2014, The D-Pad did not record a full playthrough of the remastered version. However, a special episode covering the remaster-exclusive Cave of Shadows dungeon was released on August 2, 2017 to commemorate the 100th episode of the channel's playthrough of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It is the twenty-fourth game in The Legendary Let's Play.

Rick uses the Wolf Link amiibo to enter the Cave of Shadows and easily completes the first section, containing five floors. He is forced to exit and reenter in order to proceed further. His second visit to the cave requires the completion of the first five floors again, followed by a second section of fifteen floors, which he also completes. For the third and final visit, he replays the first two sections again, then moves on to a new area of twenty floors. Rick starts to run very low on health during this section, and uses an amiibo to fully heal himself. After clearing one final room filled with several waves of enemies, Rick reaches the end of the cave, and is rewarded with a wallet upgrade and a room containing a statue of the Wolf Link amiibo. |
