Pokémon Rivals
Concurrent with Pokémon SoulSilver Version

Pokémon HeartGold Version is a 2010 role-playing game developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo DS. It is part of the fourth generation of the Pokémon franchise, and one half of a pair of games with Pokémon SoulSilver Version. The two games are remakes of the 2000 Game Boy Color games Pokémon Gold Version and Pokémon Silver Version, with some features from the 2001 updated Pokémon Crystal Version also included. They retall the same plot as the original games with some additions and expansions, along with new mechanics from more recent games in the series, the ability for any Pokémon to follow the player, a new minigame called the Pokéathlon, and more. The game was played by Felice on The D-Pad in 2014, as the fourth and final game in C/J & Felice vs. The Elite Four. The LP consisted of 5 episodes, released on weekdays from September 1 to September 5, 2014.

The game was revisited on The D-Pad by Rick in a Nuzlocke challenge in 2024, as one half of the seventh installment of Pokémon Rivals, HeartGold vs. SoulSilver. The LP began on November 18, 2024.
