After being shown a demo of the game due to waiting on the game select screen too long, the group decide they may as well play Donkey Kong Country next. John controls the first level, Jungle Hijinks, completing it and finding all four of the "Kong" letters, before passing the control over to Sanchez for the second stage, Ropey Rampage. He also completes his stage with all four letters, letting Sarah take over for Reptile Rumble. While she plays through it, the group discuss the relative quality of the three Donkey Kong Country games, which turns into a heated debate when John reveals his dislike of Banjo-Kazooie. Rick picks up the control for the underwater Coral Capers. The fifth stage, Barrel Cannon Canyon, proves to be much more of a problem, with Sanchez, John, and Sarah all taking turns trying to beat it and failing. Eventually, Rick takes over again and manages to clear the level, then the boss of the first world.
