Angry Video Game Nerd: The Movie is a 2014 adventure comedy film directed and written by Kevin Finn and James Rolfe. It stars Rolfe, Sarah Glendening, Stephen Mendel, Helena Barrett, Time Winters, Eddie Pepitone, Bobby Charles Reed, and Jeremy Suarez. It is based on the comedy video game review web series Angry Video Game Nerd, also created by and starring Rolfe. The story follows the Nerd and his sidekick Cooper as they travel to New Mexico to disprove the urban legend that millions of copies of the 1982 game E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial are buried there. Along the way, they become embroiled in a conspiracy involving Area 51 and and an unidentified flying object. The film was reviewed on The D-Pad upon its release in an episode of R-Rated, released on August 17, 2014.
