Spider-Man is a 2002 superhero film directed by Sam Raimi and written by David Koepp. It stars Tobey Maguire, Willem Dafoe, Kirsten Dunst, James Franco, Cliff Robertson, and Rosemary Harris. It is based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name, and is the first film in the Spider-Man trilogy. The plot follows Peter Parker, a teen outcast who is bitten by a genetically-modified spider and becomes the crime-fighting vigilante Spider-Man. The film was reviewed on The D-Pad in 2021 in an episode of R-Rated. The episode was released on December 7, 2021.
