Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is a 1989 action-platform game developed by Konami and published by Ultra Games for the Nintendo Entertainment System. Based on the 1987 animated television series of the same name, the game follows the four Ninja Turtles (Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo, and Donatello) as they attempt to defeat Shredder and restore Splinter to his human form. The player controls one of the turtles through a series of difficult side-scrolling levels, with the ability to switch freely between the four at any time. The game was played on The D-Pad in a one-off episode in 2021, as the twelfth event in The Games, with the Hudson River level representing the sport of swimming. The episode was released on August 4, 2021.
