Excitebike is a 1985 racing game developed by Nintendo R&D1 and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Entertainment System. It is the first game in the Excite series. Players control a racer across a side-scrolling motocross track, and aim to finish in first without being impeded by hazards. It is one of the thirty games included in the NES Classic Edition dedicated console. This version of the game was played on The D-Pad in a one-off episode in 2018, as the seventh game in their NES Classic Edition series. The episode was released on December 8, 2018.

The game was revisited on The D-Pad in a one-off episode in 2021, as the seventh event in The Ist Games, representing the sport of cycling. The episode was released on July 30, 2021.
