Avengers: Infinity War is a 2018 superhero film directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. It stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Don Cheadle, Tom Holland, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Josh Brolin, and Chris Pratt. It is based on the Marvel Comics team The Avengers, and is the third film in the Avengers series, the sequel to the 2015 film Avengers: Age of Ultron, and the nineteenth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The story follows the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, and numerous other characters from across the franchise as they attempt to prevent the alien warlord Thanos from collecting the six all-powerful Infinity Stones and wiping out half of all life in the universe.
The film was covered on The D-Pad throughout its release cycle, with an episode of The D-Pad Reacts covering the film's first trailer released on December 5, 2017, followed by an R-Rated episode reviewing the film on May 3, 2018. It was later reviewed a second time on the channel in another episode of R-Rated, released on December 18, 2021.
