Contra III: The Alien Wars is a 1992 run and gun game developed and published by Konami for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It is the third entry in the Contra series. The Super NES Classic Edition re-release of the game was played by The D-Pad in 2017, as the sixteenth game in the Super NES Classic Edition series. A single episode was released on October 24, 2017.

| Using the 2-player co-op option, Rick and Ben begin the game, playing through some of the first stage. Ben runs out of lives fairly quickly, leaving Rick to play through a bit more of the level before following him. They try again, this time managing to reach the end of the stage and defeat the boss. They move on to the second stage, an odd top-down level that requires them to clear a number of enemies from the streets. Ben dies when fighting the level's boss, leaving Rick to finish it off on his own. He eventually does so, and begins the third stage, where both players quickly run out of lives. | ||||||
