The Day of Σ is a 2006 original video animation based on the Mega Man X series by Capcom. Acting as a prequel to Mega Man Maverick Hunter X, it was included as an unlockable feature within that game. The OVA was watched by The D-Pad in 2018 as part of The Mega Let's Play, immediately following their LP of Maverick Hunter X. A D-Pad + Chill episode covering it was released on June 1, 2018.
