Mega Man Maverick Hunter X is a 2006 action-platform game developed and published by Capcom for the PlayStation Portable. It is an updated remake of the 1994 game Mega Man X, including a slightly reworked story, an alternate mode with Vile as the playable character, and an OVA prequel to the game's story entitled The Day of Σ. The game was played by The D-Pad in 2018 as the forty-eighth weekday game in The Mega Let's Play, and the fifty-seventh game in the series overall. The playthrough commenced on May 4, 2018 and concluded on June 1, 2018, after 16 episodes.
