Mega Man IV is a 1993 action-platform game developed by Minakuchi Engineering and published by Capcom for the Game Boy. It is the fourth of five Mega Man games released for the console. Like previous handheld Mega Man games, it combines elements from two of the Nintendo Entertainment System games, in this case Mega Man 4 and Mega Man 5. It also introduces the fourth Mega Man Killer, Ballade. Most notably, the game also introduces the ability to buy upgrades in a shop using bolts as currency, a feature that would later appear in the main series. The game was played on The D-Pad in 2015, as the twelfth weekday game and fourteenth game overall in The Mega Let's Play. The LP consisted of 13 episodes, released on weekdays from June 9 to June 27, 2015.
