Mega Man 7 is a 1995 action-platform game developed and published by Capcom for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It is the seventh main series game in the Mega Man franchise, and the first to be released on a platform other than the Nintendo Entertainment System. The plot follows Mega Man as he once again battles against Dr. Wily after the evil scientist is freed from his imprisonment by some of his Robot Masters. It also introduces the new characters Bass and Treble, a mysterious pair of robots also trying to stop Wily. The game builds upon many features introduced in Mega Man 6, keeping some of the same items and Rush upgrades, and introducing the new Rush Search upgrade and the new character of Auto, who runs an item shop similar to those present in Mega Man IV and Mega Man V on the Game Boy. The game was played on The D-Pad in 2015, as the twentieth weekday game and twenty-fourth game overall in The Mega Let's Play. The LP consisted of 18 episodes; 17 covering the story mode and a bonus episode covering the 2-player versus mode, released on weekdays from December 18 to December 25, 2015.
