Sonic the Hedgehog Spinball is a 1993 pinball game developed by Sega Technical Institute and published by Sega for the Sega Genesis. It is a spin-off in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, and the first pinball game in the series. The plot, set in the continuity of the animated TV series Sonic the Hedgehog, sees Sonic attacking a fortress Dr. Robotnik has built on top of a volcano. The game was played on The D-Pad in 2016, as the tenth game in The Super Sonic Let's Play. The LP consisted of 11 episodes, released on weekdays from September 1 to September 5, 2016.

Sonic the Hedgehog Spinball is one of the forty-two games included in the Sega Genesis Mini dedicated console. This version of the game was played on The D-Pad in a one-off episode in 2019, as the eighth game in their Sega Genesis Mini series. The episode was released on November 13, 2019.
