Resident Evil HD Remaster is a 2015 survival horror game developed and published by Capcom for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. It is an updated remaster of the 2002 GameCube game Resident Evil, which is itself a remake of the 1996 PlayStation game of the same name, the first installment in the Resident Evil franchise. Set in 1998 near the fictional town of Raccoon City, players control S.T.A.R.S. agents Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine in two separate but linked campaigns as they investigate a series of strange murders. The Xbox One version of the game was played on The C-Pad in 2018, as the first game in Let's Play Dead. The LP consisted of 72 episodes; 40 covering Jill's story and 32 covering Chris's story, released on weekdays from August 29, 2018 to March 29, 2019.

Episodes

This LP was re-released on The D-Pad Unpaused in three segments. The first, containing episodes 1 through 18 of Jill's story, was released on February 15, 2024. The second, containing episodes 19 through 40 of Jill's story, was released on February 27, 2024. The third, containing Chris's story, was released on May 10, 2024.

Trivia

  • The Resident Evil HD Remaster LP marked the debut of Dennis Brown on the channel.
  • Episode 35 of Jill's story and episode 28 of Chris's story share the title "A Circular Depression", making them one of the few pairs of videos in the channel's history to do so, and the only two to occur in the same LP. This instance is especially notable, as both titles were referencing the exact same line of dialogue in the game.
  • Resident Evil HD Remaster is currently the only LP in Let's Play Dead to feature a live-action outro, which acts as a follow-up to the recreation of the opening sequence from the announcement video for the series.
