The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is a 2014 superhero film directed by Marc Webb and written by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Jeff Pinkner. It stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan, Campbell Scott, Embeth Davidtz, Colm Feore, Paul Giamatti, and Sally Field. It is based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name, and is the second of the two The Amazing Spider-Man films. The plot follows Peter Parker as he continues his double life as Spider-Man while continuing to investigate his parents' deaths, battling the supervillain Electro, dealing with the return of his childhood friend Harry Osborn, and navigating his relationship with Gwen Stacy. The film was reviewed on The D-Pad in 2021 in an episode of R-Rated. The episode was released on December 13, 2021.
