Resident Evil – Code: Veronica X is a 2001 survival horror game developed by Capcom Production Studio 4 and published by Capcom for the PlayStation 2. It is an updated version of Resident Evil – Code: Veronica, released in 2000 for the Dreamcast. It is a main entry in the Resident Evil series, originally intended to be named Resident Evil 3 before that title was given to another game. The plot, set three months after the events of Resident Evil 2, follows siblings Claire and Chris Redfield as they attempt to survive an outbreak of the T-Virus in the Southern Ocean and Antarctica. The 2011 high-definition remaster of the game on the Xbox 360 was played on The D-Pad in 2020, as the seventh game in Let's Play Dead. The LP began on December 1, 2020.
