Wonder Boy is a 1986 platform game developed by Escape and published by Sega for arcades. It is the first game in the Wonder Boy series. A remastered port was released for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 in 2022 as part of Wonder Boy Collection. The player controls the titular Wonder Boy as he attempts to save his girlfriend Tina from a dark King. The Nintendo Switch version of the game was played on The D-Pad in 2022, as the first game in The Wondrous Let's Play. The LP began on July 18, 2022.
