King of the Nerds is a reality TV series created by Robert Carradine and Curtis Armstrong, inspired by the Revenge of the Nerds films in which they starred. It takes the form of a competition in which nerds and geeks compete in challenges, with the ultimate goal being a cash prize of $100,000. The show premiered in 2013, and ran until 2015, when it was cancelled after three seasons. The series was "covered" by The D-Pad in 2012; both Rick and Bebel auditioned for the debut season, with the videos hosted on The D-Pad's YouTube channel. Neither of them made it to the televised show. The two auditions were released on May 17, 2012, with a second take of Bebel's following on May 21, 2012.
