Mario Party 5 is a 2003 party game developed by Hudson Soft and published by Nintendo for the GameCube. It is part of the Mario franchise, and the fifth game in the Mario Party series. The game introduces the "Super Duel" mode to the series, along with the debuts of Toad, Boo, and Koopa Kid as playable characters. The game was played on The D-Pad in a one-off episode in 2024, as the sixth game in Mario Party Madness. The episode was streamed live on the chrisclark8788 and dpadfm Twitch channels before being uploaded to YouTube on February 26, 2024.
