5 Days a Stranger is a 2003 point-and-click horror game developed by Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw and published by Fully Ramblomatic. It is the first entry in his four-part Chzo Mythos series. The story follows gentleman thief Trilby, who finds himself trapped in a manor along with several others, and subjected to disturbing, supernatural events. The game was played by The D-Pad in 2011, as their first LP after Sonic Week, and the first to be uploaded to their YouTube channel. The LP consisted of 11 episodes; it began on July 28, 2011, and concluded on August 11, 2011.
In 2014, the game was revisited on the channel, as the first game in The Chzo Mythos, an LP project dedicated to playing through the entire series. This LP, known as 5 Days a Stranger: Second Stab, was preceded by a trailer released on July 23, 2014, and consisted of 8 episodes. It began on July 28, 2014, and concluded on August 6, 2014.
