Something Remote is a 2009 independent comedy film directed by Alex Laferriere, starring C/J Haley, Rick Desilets, John Selig, Rebecca Davis, Sal Neslusan, and Matt Heron-Duranti. It is notable for its cast and crew featuring a large number of future members of The D-Pad, two years before either the podcast or the YouTube channel existed. In celebration of the film's tenth anniversary in 2019, its theatrical cut was re-released on the YouTube channel on January 9, 2019.
