Resident Evil Village is an upcoming survival horror game developed and published by Capcom for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC, currently scheduled for release in 2021. It is the eighth main numbered entry in the Resident Evil series, and a sequel to Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. Set several years after the events of that game, the player controls Ethan Winters, who travels to a mysterious village while trying to understand the actions of an apparently villainous Chris Redfield. A gameplay demo, Maiden, was released on January 21, 2021, with a second demo planned to follow before the game's release. The demo was played on The C-Pad in a one-off episode shortly after its release, as part of Let's Play Dead. The episode was released on January 27, 2021.
