Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars is a 1996 role-playing game developed by Square and published by Nintendo for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It is an RPG spinoff of the Mario franchise. The Super NES Classic Edition re-release of the game was played by The D-Pad in 2017 as the twenty-first and final game in the D-Pad Classics series. Initially disguised as a one-off episode like the rest of the SNES Classic LPs, it was revealed to actually be a full playthrough of the game. The playthrough debuted on October 31, 2017.
