BS The Legend of Zelda is a 1995 action-adventure game developed by Nintendo R&D2 and published by St.GIGA for the Satellaview. It is a spin-off in the Legend of Zelda franchise. Although the gameplay and structure is similar to the original 1987 The Legend of Zelda, the game features the Satellaview's BS-X protagonist rather than Link. The game was "broadcast" in four weekly "episodes", with players given only 50 minutes each week to complete the dungeons and collect the required items in order to not fall behind. Another set of four episodes broadcast several months after the original game, entitled BS The Legend of Zelda: MAP 2, featured a remixed overworld and dungeons, acting similarly to the original game's "second quest". The game was played on The D-Pad in a one-off episode in 2014, as part of an unboxing video for the Hyperkin RetroN 5, intended to demonstrate the abilities of the console. The episode was released on October 13, 2014.

The game was revisited on the channel in 2018, as the fourth weekday game in The Legendary Let's Play: A Terrible Fate, and the thirtieth game in The Legendary Let's Play overall. This LP, which covered the original game in full, consisted of 24 episodes, released from September 3 to October 4, 2018. A further LP covering MAP 2, consisting of 12 episodes, was released from October 9 to October 24, 2018.
