The Dark Knight is a 2008 superhero film directed by Christopher Nolan, starring Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Heath Ledger, Gary Oldman, Aaron Eckhart, Maggie Gyllenhaal, and Morgan Freeman. It is based on the DC comics character Batman, and is the second film in Nolan's The Dark Knight Trilogy, and the sequel to Batman Begins. The film was covered by The D-Pad for its tenth anniversary in 2018, as the fourth installment of Movie Nights at the Roundtable. A review was released on August 5, 2018.
