Thor is a 2011 superhero film directed by Kenneth Branagh, starring Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skargård, Colm Feore, Ray Stevenson, Idris Elba, Kat Dennings, Rene Russo, and Anthony Hopkins. It is based on the Marvel Comics character Thor, and is the fourth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film was covered by The D-Pad in 2018, as the fifth installment of Movie Nights at the Roundtable. A review was released on October 21, 2018, followed by a D-Pad + Chill episode covering the related Marvel short film The Consultant (included on the home video release of Thor) on January 23, 2019, and another episode covering the film itself on February 2, 2019.
