The Mega Let's Play

The Mega Let's Play is a Franchise Play that attempts to cover every single game in the massive Mega Man franchise. The series was announced with a trailer posted on December 17, 2014, a few weeks before the conclusion of the original run of The Legendary Let's Play; it debuted a month later on January 19, 2015, replacing the former as the main series on the channel. The schedule for The Mega Let's Play consists of 15 minute weekday videos covering every game in the franchise by order of release date, with the exception of the games set in the Battle Network/Star Force timeline, which are covered in 30 minute videos uploaded on weekends. The Mega Let's Play is the first Franchise Play on the channel to include regular live-action segments, with each game featuring both an intro and outro exploring the history, development and reception of each game. These live-action segments are also notable for being the inception of the metaplot, a serialized narrative that lasted from September 2015 to March 2017. The Mega Let's Play is split into several large 'parts'; it is currently in its fifth part. As of May 26, 2017, 48 games (46 official Mega Man games and 2 games not part of the franchise but connected by a common developer) have been played as part of the project, and a total of 839 episodes have been released. In addition, a separate series exists within the Franchise Play which attempts to cover a variety of Mega Man fan games - currently, 1 fan game has been played, and a total of 6 episodes have been released.
