Kirby's Toy Box is a 1996 minigame collection developed by HAL Laboratory and published by Nintendo for the Satellaview. It is a spin-off of the Kirby franchise. Although eight games were created as part of the collection, ROMs were only available for three of them for many years, until cartridges containing four of the other games were purchased by Frank Cifaldi and Matthew Callis of the Video Game History Foundation at a Japanese auction in late 2016. Only one of the eight games ("Ball Rally") is still currently unplayable. Kirby's Toy Box was played by The D-Pad in 2016, before the retrieval of the four other games, as the ninth game in The Dreamy Let's Play. The playthrough began on August 4, 2016, and concluded on August 8, 2016, after three episodes. In 2018, they revisited the collection to play the newly-available games; the playthrough returned on May 7, 2018 and concluded once more on May 10, 2018.
