- Not to be confused with the game Sonic Labyrinth, in which all levels are referred to as Labyrinths, or Lost Labyrinth Zone from Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode I.
Labyrinth Zone is the fourth Zone in both Sonic the Hedgehog for the Sega Genesis and its 8-bit counterparts, and is the first underwater catacomb in the series. Like with all Zones from Sonic the Hedgehog, it also appears as a track in Sonic Drift without the "Zone" designation.
Use on The D-Pad
Outside of its normal appearances as playable levels within the games themselves, elements of Labyrinth Zone have appeared elsewhere in D-Pad-related media. The outro to the Sonic Week playthrough of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is set to a scrolling Labyrinth Zone background.
