Sonic Drift is a 1994 racing game developed and published by Sega for the Game Gear. It is the first racing game in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, and was originally only released in Japan, not becoming available in English until it was featured as an unlockable extra in Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut in 2003. Players can control one of four characters - Sonic, Tails, Eggman and Amy, the latter two playable for the first time in the franchise - racing against each other in a range of different tracks. The game was played on The D-Pad in 2016, as the thirteenth game in The Super Sonic Let's Play. The LP consisted of 4 episodes, released on weekdays from October 4 to October 7, 2016.

The game was revisited on The D-Pad in a one-off episode by Rick in 2022, as the eighth game in Sonic Weekathon II. The episode was streamed live on the dpadfm Twitch account before being uploaded to YouTube on June 30, 2022.
