Once again, Ben controls the beginning of the game, playing through the intro stage as the group discuss their previous playthroughs of Mega Man X, as well as the upcoming 1000th The Mega Let's Play video. Ben gets near the end of the stage before running out of health and dying to an enemy attack. He eventually gets a game over, allowing Lindsay to attempt the stage. She dies once, close to where Ben first died, but manages to reach the end of the stage on her next attempt. After the unwinnable fight against Vile and the cutscene that introduces Zero, the stage is completed and the group move on to a different game.
