Several LCD electronic The Legend of Zelda games were released during the late 1980s and early 1990s; Zelda for the Game & Watch in 1989 The Legend of Zelda for the Nelsonic Game Watch, also in 1989, and Zelda no Densetsu: Kamigami no Triforce for the Barcode Battler II in 1992. All three were extremely simplistic. The three games were played by The D-Pad in 2018, as the twenty-seventh, twenty-eighth, and twenty-ninth games in The Legendary Let's Play, and the second, third, and fourth games in the The Legendary Let's Play: A Terrible Fate series. The version of the Game & Watch Zelda played was the Game Boy Advance re-release as part of Game & Watch Gallery 4. The LP covered all three of the games in a single episode; it was released on August 31, 2018.
