Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories is a 2008 action role-playing game developed and published by Square Enix for the PlayStation 2. It is an entry in the Kingdom Hearts series, and a direct sequel to the original Kingdom Hearts. It is a 3D remake of the original 2004 Game Boy Advance title Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, and uses a card-based battle system unique among games in the series. In 2013, the game was re-released as part of Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix for the PlayStation 3; this version of the game was played by The D-Pad in 2018, as a follow up to their LP of the original game. Episodes were streamed live on The D-Pad's Twitch account before being posted to YouTube. The LP consisted of 10 episodes; 7 covering the main game, and 3 covering the Reverse/Rebirth mode. It began on July 27, 2018, and concluded on December 21, 2018.
