The D-Pad was a video game-themed podcast and later live web radio show hosted by Rick Desilets, John Selig, Nick Bebel and C/J Haley. It debuted on April 3, 2011 and ran on a weekly schedule for three years, with several hiatuses and format changes occurring during this time. After 120 episodes, The D-Pad ended its run on April 3, 2014, the third anniversary of the show's debut, with the hosts deciding to shift their focus to their Let's Play channel of the same name. The podcast returned for a special one-off episode in 2016 to celebrate the fifth anniversary of The D-Pad, with Rick, John, C/J and Ben Mooney hosting. A pilot for a revival of the podcast under the name The D-Pad After Dark was released on April 3, 2018, the podcast's seventh anniversary. The first official episode was ultimately released four years later on April 6, 2022, as part of the channel's eleventh anniversary celebrations.
