Hollow Knight is a 2017 Metroidvania game developed and published by Team Cherry. The 2018 Nintendo Switch version of the game was played by The D-Pad in 2019. Episodes were streamed live on The D-Pad's Twitch account before being posted to YouTube. The LP consisted of 10 episodes; it began on February 6, 2019, and concluded on August 22, 2019.

This LP was re-released on The D-Pad Unpaused in segments. The first, containing episodes 1 and 2, was released on June 17, 2024. The second, containing episodes 3 and 4, was released on July 24, 2024.
