• Occasional Joystick collaborator Cat Arthur served as audio director and sound designer for Whispering Willows.
• A year before Whispering Willows was played on The D-Pad, Rick and John met the game's creator David Logan at E3 2018. Rick was unaware that either David or Cat had worked on the game until after it was added to the OUYA, Oh No series.
