It is the third game in the NHL series of ice hockey simulation games, featuring record saving, four game modes, and several improvements to the engine from previous entries. The game was played on The D-Pad in a one-off episode in 2022, as the thirteenth event in The IInd Games, representing the sport of ice hockey. The episode was released on February 21, 2022.
