The Ist Games is the first staging of The Games, held in the summer of 2021. It was announced with its opening ceremonies on July 23, 2021, the same day as the opening ceremony of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, and debuted officially the following day. Each of the sixteen events were covered in one-off episodes released daily, corresponding to the sixteen days of the Tokyo Olympics. The competition concluded with the final event on August 9, 2021, and the series itself concluded with an 18th and final episode consisting of an 11-hour marathon of the entire series, released on August 15, 2021.
Tierra de los Hermanos Hook was the winning nation, with 8 gold medals and 13 medals total, while Rick Desilets of Imperium Ludum was the winning athlete, with 6 gold medals and 9 medals total.
