The 2018 Nintendo Switch re-release of the game as part of Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 was played by The D-Pad in 2018, as the fifty-third weekday game in The Mega Let's Play, and the sixty-second game in the series overall. The LP consisted of 8 episodes; it began on September 29, 2018, and concluded on October 2, 2018. A bonus episode covering the game's Challenge Mode was released as part of a livestream on November 2, 2018.
