Mega Man 9 is a 2008 action-platform game developed by Inti Creates and Capcom and published by Capcom for seventh-generation consoles. It is part of the Mega Man franchise, and the ninth core game in the classic series. The first numbered entry in the classic series in over a decade, it uses throwback 8-bit graphics and controls reminiscent of Mega Man 2. The 2018 Nintendo Switch re-release of the game as part of Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 was played by The D-Pad in 2018, as the fifty-second weekday game in The Mega Let's Play, and the sixty-first game in the series overall. The LP began on September 21, 2018.
