Having never played Star Fox before, Rick starts off with the first stage. He reaches the boss at the end and defeats it, and is given a 99% score at the end despite multiple mistakes, something commented on by John. Sanchez takes over for the second stage, set in an asteroid belt. He accidentally plays most of it in first-person mode, but decides to stay in it upon realizing that modes can be switched at any time. He reaches the boss, but accidentally flies directly into it, killing him. John picks up for another attempt, but has an even worse performance against the boss, leaving Sarah to attempt it one last time with the group's final life. She manages to defeat it, completing the second stage. John remarks that the game is good, but wonders what a more developed version of it would look like.
